Video of first startup.

It took a few kicks to start the 'T Bird' first time but after that she started fairly easily.

Revs were kept up on the second start as the cams were new and the followers reprofiled. A large fan was used later to try and keep the temperatures down.

On the second start up I got a 'kick' from the right hand HT lead and, when trying to stop the engine, the magneto cut out button dispapeared into the nacelle. A large spanner was used to short out the magneto. The engine was allowed to cool down and run in 2 to 3 minute bursts for a total of twenty minutes to bed the cams in.
